The AloeCoat product line includes different plant based post harvest solutions for fruits and vegetablesAloeCoat is a 100% natural, plant based edible coating for use in fruits and vegetables. AloeCoat is made from purified extracts of aloe compounds, creating a biofilm on fresh produce, reducing respiration and perspiration, protecting from fungi and bacteria and thus extending shelf life of the products.

According to FAO data, a third of the food produced globally -measured in total weight- was lost or wasted. In fresh produce, the worldwide waste is calculated at 28% of total production. Our AloeCoat  solution helps to minimize fruit & vegetable waste, thus contributing to avoid GHG emissions.

Composition of Product

AloeCoat is a formulation of aloe based polysaccharides and other aloe compounds, developed by ALOE ECO PARK SAPI DE CV in conjunction with Aloetrade America LLC.

Product Presentation

AloeCoat is offered in the following presentations:

20 liter jerrycans - 200 liter drums - 1000 liter plastic IBC tote

Product is offered in both the Conventional Presentation and Certified Organic by NOP-USDA, EUROPEAN UNION, CANADA-COR, IFOAM and LPOMEX-MEXICO. Organic Certificates are sent by request.

Logistic Information for 20 liter jerrycans

20´Container

Each 20 FCL loads 10 standard pallets (1.00m x 1.20m) with 48 plastic jerrycans (20 liter each). Total 480 plastic jerry cans with a total of 9,600 liters of AloeCoat

40´Container

Each 40 FCL loads 20 standard pallets (1.00m x 1.20m) with 48 plastic jerrycans (20 liter each). Total 960 plastic jerry cans with a total of 19,200 liters of AloeCoat
