Whole Leaf Aloe Juice 1X
• Whole Leaf Aloe Juice 1X
One of the main products we manufacture and offer for sale is the whole leaf aloe vera juice, usually named as whole aloe vera juice 1X, since it is not concentrated.
Whole leaf aloe vera juice is made by processing aloe leaves as a whole, and that does not separate the skin from the pulp or mucilaginous gel inside.
In this case, the leaf must be sanitized and then processed to obtain an aloe vera juice with higher quality solids and polysaccharides. The average yield of this option is in the range of 70% to 72% of the total leaf weight received, depending the final value on certain parameters.
Whole leaf aloe vera juice is produced by taking all cleaned and sanitized aloe vera leaves, which are processed by grinding within a mill. From this process a raw juice is obtained.
Occasionally, and for certain types of industrial requirements, an enzymatic degradation step is performed on whole leaf aloe vera juice.
The enzymatic degradation of whole leaf aloe vera juice is performed to improve its quality and bioavailability. This process, which involves enzymes such as cellulase -the most commonly used enzyme-, breaks down complex polysaccharides like cellulose and hemicellulose, resulting in a more viscous juice with easier absorption of its bioactive compounds. This optimizes its potential therapeutic effects, especially in wound healing and digestive health.
Enzymatic degradation aims to break down these complex structures, releasing aloe vera’s bioactive compounds, such as lower molecular weight polysaccharides, and making them more accessible to the body.
Then, the resulting suspension is filtered to remove unwanted material. Finally, the process of stabilizing may be cold or hot, which depends on the type of material required and the final destination of the product.
The product obtained is called whole leaf aloe vera juice (not decolorized). That juice has not been concentrated, so it is called 1X or 1:1 whole leaf aloe vera juice. This uncolorized juice may be more potent in terms of properties, but may also cause side effects in some people due to the aloin.
The use of this type of whole leaf aloe juice is usually for industrial purposes, not for human use, as long as a correct filtering and clarification process has not been carried out.
• Decolorized Whole Leaf Aloe Vera Juice
In this case, once the juice is obtained, it is then filtered to eliminate aloin content and small particles. Some specific process to quit aloin and anthraquinones are made with a filtration sequence and use of activated charcoal and diatomaceous earth, thus obtaining a decolorized whole leaf aloe vera juice.
The product obtained is called decolorized whole leaf aloe vera juice . That juice has not been concentrated, so it is called 1X or 1:1 decolorized whole leaf aloe vera juice.
The decolorized juice is considered safer for long-term consumption, as the aloin is removed, although it may also lose some of the plant’s properties. It is absolutely important to achieve a correct filtration and clarification process to eliminate traces of aloin and other anthracenic compounds.

Mode of Action of Whole Leaf Aloe Juice 1X
Whole Leaf Aloe Juice 1X is obtained by pressing and processing the entire aloe vera leaf, including both the inner fillet and rind. This results in a juice rich in polysaccharides, anthraquinones, enzymes, amino acids, and phytonutrients.
Its mode of action combines moisturizing, soothing, and bioactive properties that help support digestive balance, skin hydration, and antioxidant protection. The inclusion of outer leaf components provides a more complete profile of active molecules with cleansing and purifying effects.
