Inner Fillet Aloe Juice 1X

Inner Fillet Aloe Juice 1X

• Aloe Vera inner fillet juice

One of the main products we manufacture and offer for sale is the inner fillet aloe vera juice, usually named as inner fillet aloe vera juice 1X, since it is not concentrated.

It is the juice obtained from the inner gel from aloe vera -also called as aloe vera inner fillet juice. This aloe juice is made by means of a process that allows to separate the skin from the pulp or mucilaginous gel that is inside the leaf.

In this case, the leaf must be sanitized, manually or mechanically sliced, and then processed to obtain an aloe vera juice with higher quality solids and polysaccharides. The average yield of this option is in the range of 40% to 45% of the total leaf weight received, depending the final value on certain parameters.

As mentioned, this process is done either manually or with an automatic filleting machine. Our factory uses the mechanical filleting method, which saves time and costs and produces relevant production volumes.

In this method of mechanical filleting, the leaves are cleaned and sanitized, then are cut with an blade the automatic filleting machine has inside. With this process the skin on both sides of the leaf is removed. What is left is the leaf’s core, that is, the mucilaginous fillet from the aloe leaf.

Those aloe fillets are then converted into liquid through the use of a mill and then, the largest particles of cellulose fibers are extracted through the use of a finisher.

Some juices ares prepared without pasteurization, while other are pasteurized before shipped to customers.

Some pasteurization processes use a batch system, while others use HTST systems. Typically, the product is brought to a high temperature to kill bacteria and then returned to a temperature between 4 and 8 degrees Celsius for the thermal shock to complete the pasteurization process.

Preservatives are added to some juices, although some processes do not require them. Citric acid is usually added as a buffer and ascorbic acid as an antioxidant. Some formulas also use sodium metabisulfite.

Those are the usual steps to obtain aloe juice, which in this case is called aloe vera juice from inner fillet or directly, aloe vera inner fillet juice. This aloe juice is an aqueous liquid, light amber color.

That juice has not been concentrated, so it is called 1X or 1:1 inner fillet aloe vera juice.

• Decolorized Aloe Vera Inner Fillet Juice

After juice is obtained, it is then filtered to eliminate aloin content and small particles. Some specific process to quit aloin and anthraquinones are made with a filtration sequence and use of activated charcoal and diatomaceous earth, thus obtaining a decolorized inner fillet aloe vera juice with a molecular weight between 30 and 50,000 Daltons (30-50 kDa).
